Chloé Desmoineaux is based in Marseille and works as an educator, Alt+Ctrl artist, and curator of deviant experimental video games, with a focus on technofeminist collective practices. Inspired by tactical media and hacking, they create interactive installations, subvert video games, and explore alternative ways of envisioning screen-controller interaction.

In 2018, Chloé co-organized the tribute event TRANS//BORDER at the MUCEM — honoring the teachings of Nathalie Magnan — and presented the conference Very Symbiotic on Donna Haraway and situated knowledges. Since then, they have contributed to the promotion of Nathalie Magnan's archives, in connection with the archives of the Critique d'art journal and the publishing house Hystérique & AssociéEs.

In 2021, they opened FluidSpace, a volunteer transfeminist hacklab in which technology is explored through an artistic, feminist, and critical lens.

Their works have been exhibited in France and internationally, notably at the Hammer Museum (L.A.), UNAM (Mexico), Hangar.org (Barcelona), Bergen (BEK, Norway), the Gaîté Lyrique (Paris), Festival Chroniques (Marseille), Théâtre de Vidy (Lausanne), and Octobre Numérique (Arles).

Their latest work BadTrans, created alongside Ada Lanerd and Bobby Brim, is currently on view as part of the exhibition MAGNANRAMA at Villa Arson through the end of May 2026.
